Our fully-funded Level 3 courses are available to eligible adults who do not already hold a Level 3 qualification.
This qualification is ideal for those seeking to enhance their functional role through the use of counselling skills, e.g. Human Resource managers, Educational Nurses/SEND/SLT/ELSA, Industry Support Managers and those wishing to expand their know ledge of Counselling. This qualification does not qualify learners to practise as a counsellor, or progress to a level 4 counselling course, as there are no face-to-face teaching hours. You will gain an understanding of a range of counselling skills and have the opportunity to examine some of the various schools of thought/theoretical models associated with them.

This qualification aims to provide you with in-depth knowledge of the use of counselling skills in everyday life and work, alongside the approaches that underpin the use of these skills. To be awarded the Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills, you are required to successfully complete 5 mandatory units:
Learners who achieve this qualification could study towards a professional counselling course validated by the CPCAB Counselling Courses at FCoT.
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, you may find it helpful if you've already achieved a Level 2 qualification.
