We had a huge demand from Providers and Learners to include Coronavirus in our Level 2 Certificate in Prevention and Control of Infection - so we listened!
New guidelines state that providers of primary and community health services should ensure that measures are in place so that all settings are COVID-secure. Controlling the infection is a key part of this - particularly in settings with individuals who are high risk.
Protecting people from infection is an important part of providing high-quality care, especially as some life-threatening infections can spread easily within care environments.
Our Learning and Assessment Resources enable learners to gain the skills they need to tackle the risk of infection in their workplace. The course covers procedures and regulations surrounding infection control, as well as the importance of maintaining a clean environment.
