This qualification provides the underpinning knowledge required by employees to work in a range of customer service roles. Learners will have essential knowledge of how to carry out tasks such as managing information, organising and supporting events, resolving problems and dealing with challenging customers and developing customer relationships.
This course is available until the end of February, but must be completed by 30 June. This course restarts on the 1 August. If you are paying for the course, you can start on any date throughout the year and have 6 months to complete it.

You will be provided with the learning materials either online and/or hardcopies and you will have the support of a knowledgeable assessor/tutor who will give you guidance and feedback on the course as you complete it. This course takes between 2 to 6 months to complete.
To be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service, learners are required to successfully complete 3 mandatory units.

What previous qualifications and experience will I need?
There are no specific prior qualifications needed to access this qualification. However, learners might find it useful if they have already completed a Level 1 qualification. You will be invited in to complete an induction and initial assessment.
Due to government funding these courses are available free of charge; subject to the learners meeting the set eligibility. You must have lived in the UK/EU for the past 3 years and be over 19 years old. There may be a fee should you withdraw from the course.
